How can I pressure BT to unbundle our exchange ?

As the title says....

What can us poor punters do to put pressure on BT to get our little local exchange upgraded from Market 1 ( limited choice and higher prices than other parts of the country).

Is that how it works?
I would have thought you'd need to put pressure on another provider like TalkTalk or Sky to request unbundled access.

Absolutely right - the decision to unbundle rests with the LLU operators not BT and they will decided whether or not to install their kit based entirely on economics.

Indeed, which in reality means you have no hope, they only cherry pick the busy exchanges.

Try sending a letter to Talk Talk or Sky stating its unfair that only BT be saddled with providing service to a backwater with no way of ever making a return so they should take up some of the slack and invest some money in places where they wont make a penny in profit....if you only had a Sainsburys in your town would you write to them to lobby to get a Tesco's built ?
