help/advice needed talk mobile

I recently took out a mobile phone contract with talktalk mobile carphone wharehouse it was to pay £12x24 months which according to my maths is about £288 anyway there maybe a need to pay it off early when i enquired how much was left i was quoted £317 i asked how was this possible and for a breakdown of the bill which i still havent had has anyone else come across this or can explain it

Obvious question, are you sure it was 12 months and not 18 ?

How many months in are you ?

Going to be hard to help until you get their breakdown. . .

24 months at £12 thats what i took out with them but they are not answering my question of a bill breakdown

Sorry, when I read the first post I got the 12 and 24 round the wrong way !

Odd, usually when you offer to pay off early you pay less not more ?
Is there anything in the T&C's about a penalty for early closure ?
Did you get any 'free gifts' they now want to charge you for ?

no i even had to pay £50 for the phone i will have to chase them up i have never had this problem before so its interesting to see what they will come up with as much as it hurts i will be happier when i get rid of this company they have a dubious way of doing things
