£2.99 for any size sandwich, sushi or pasta salad, big bag of sweets and 2 drinks

At the moment you have the meal deals that Boots does - either a sandwich or pasta salad (with chicken/tuna etc) or the like, plus a bag of crisps/bar of choc or the like and a drink.

However it has come to my notice that you can do the following:

-Grab your sandwich or pasta salad
-The big 200g-ish bags of sweets found on the isle ends also work in the deal - the big £1.89 bags of maltesers, revels, m&m's, minstrels and the like ALL work
-Currently there is BOGOF on 500ml bottles of Fanta, Lilt, Sprite, Dr Pepper and Oasis - again you will get 2 bottles included in the deal!

To confirm
-Sandwich of any size
-Big bag of sweets
-2 500ml bottles of 500ml bottles of Fanta, Lilt, Sprite, Dr Pepper and Oasis

for £2.99. Not bad IMO

Official MoneySavingExpert.com insert:

Boots’ meal deals are normally £2.99 for a sarnie, snack, and one 500ml drink. Yet Boots is currently doing 2for1 on 500ml bottles of Fanta, Lilt, Sprite, Dr Pepper and Oasis. This means you can get TWO drinks with your meal deal, instead of one.

So that’s a sarnie, snack, and two 500ml drinks for just £2.99. (Meal deals may be £3.49 in some stores, inc. central London).

Thanks to Claire21 for the top tip!

  • Sadly the only part of that which sounds vaguely like "healthy eating" is the sushi, although some sandwiches might qualify :rotfl:
Thanks to all who post constructively.

you can also choose from a selection of fruit pouches for your snack and have a 1litre bottle of water or vitamin water : )
  • GREAT!
I buy these VERY often cos i like the smoothies and the great choice of snacks.
Very often they reduce their sandwiches to 75p later in the day and i just buy 2 packs of those instead of the deal.
The LARGE red bulls are great value to add to your meal too.

I will try this one out also, thanks again.

For healthy(er) eating, I got a tub of olives today (instead of the carrot cake that I usually go for). I was glad to see that in the snack options!

Yes, theyre a newby arent they!
Im always spoilt for choice in boots. Must admit - have never chosen sushi and rarely pick the salad/meat bowls.
I always go for the BIGGEST options because mentally i think im saving more.
I like the wraps and sandwiches, then i normally have crisps or large choc bar and a smoothie.
