asda sim in a vodafone mobile?

i have seen a samsung s3100 on paug for £15 (+£10 credit, £25 in total) from dialaphone on the vodafone network which i think is a good price, hovever i have an asda sim, will this work on the the vodafone mobile or do i need the phone unlocking

You will need to get it unlocked if you buy it, as anything on from vodaphone will need their SIM - you might as well get a vodaphone SIM

o2 and vodafone tend to be unlocked anyways so it will probably work.... I just bought a vodafone and i have tried different network sims and it work, it even asked me what network sim i had and mentioned asda.
