  • A question for anyone thats got this card, how long did you have to wait for your card after getting your pin? My wife received her pin last Staurday but not got the card as yet.

I've been waiting for about a week for the card to come after the pin, and it's still not arrived!

Should I be starting to worry and phone them up, or wait for the full 10 days they said it would take?!

We have been waiting for 11 days since the PIN came now. They told my wife to wait 10 days then call, trouble is if we call now they will cancel the cards and the PIN and we will be back at square 1! Might give it a few more days before calling.

Glad I'm not the only one who hasn't received it yet! Maybe this is them being usual! Did notice it took them ages to even send the pin after I sent back the credit agreement form!
  • Our cards just arrived in the post, 12 days after the PIN, hopefully your's should come soon lovelldr :)
  • Cheers for that then. Should come by Monday I think then! Fingers crossed :)
  • it did come ... as you, 2 days later!!!

(Sorry for delay, had been without internet :p)
  • Asda have a 6 month 0% interest introductory offer for all retail purchases.

I appreciate it is not as good as a free balance transfer but this could prove useful at this time of year.

    Hi All,

Just noticed in the January ASDA magazine that is states yet another advantage of the ASDA Credit Card (Store Card not mentioned strangely!), that being you can get a 5% discount at George High Street shops (stand alone ones) and ASDA Living Stores.

Strangely this doesn't appear to mentioned on the website anywhere, maybe there will be a leaflet in the next card statement?

    Cheers

    Hi All,

Just checked the online T&Cs of the card and found a reference to this!

    https://www.gecapitalbank.co.uk/asda/asda-credit-card-faqs.html#q32b
Where can I save 5% at GEORGE?

You can save 5% on everything at all GEORGE and Living stand alone stores.

I guess as this is a discount, like the 2p off petrol, it is deducted off the amount you pay, rather than given as cashback!

Now I can get the cumfy George Jeans for £2.85 in theory, as thankfully there is a George in Liverpool City Centre!

    Cheers
