    i would not let the LA know that you know where she actually lives - they are probably going to copy this to her and she may "move" again !! Don't tell them anything you dont have to !!!!
  • Hi C - the letting agent already have the court documents showing the real address we filed it at so it makes no difference, plus the court knows the address and the CCJ is now on file against her. We can't hide this address - it's all in the open.

    It is possible that she applied for a mortgage or something of that nature in August 2006 - next time she applies she will find out about this CCJ even if she continues to ignore tha mail coming through the post.

    Do you think I should not send the fax?

    Today I have:

    - Posted ARLA complaint via recorded delivery
    - Posted court documents for defense to letting agent via recorded delivery
    - Hand delivered documents for defense to court
    - Bought a bottle of Bollinger champagne with the Threshers voucher - just £23.39 after discount.

    Thanks Lazy-girl - not only did I buy the bubbly, my entrepreneurial spirit kicked in and I am selling the 40% voucher on ebay now - anything I sell will go to the post-celebration-party-when-it-is-all-over-and-done-with Fund ha ha...!

    I can't add anything except my complete admiration and a solid round of applause for EL and her amazing resilience. It is SOOOO good to see the good guy (or girl ;) ) win for once.

    When this is all said and done, this thread should be emailed to every landlord in the country as a warning. EL is the new BoogeyWoman for dodgy landlords - return your deposits, or EL'll come and get you!!!
