Hi all,
This is what we will have on top of our file:
I have the deeds for the property she owns in Shoreham, showing her *real* address in Horsham.
I then have the two letters from Lewes Electoral Roll - one from October 2006 stating she has lived at *real* address since 1997 and one from 11th January 2007, stating they have her on record still.
This hopefully is enough to show that during the last 7 years, but importantly the lasy 3-4 months she has been at that address, which is the address we filed the court case at.
Also important that the 1st letter sent to her at that address by the court was returned to court unopened re her attending to defend herself, but the 2nd letter stating judgement in our favour has not been returned to the court, meaning *someone* kept it and was aware of it.
She has only ever given us c/o addresses for her decorator, never a legally serviceable one for *her* personally.
Also the fact that when letting agents attended court the judge said they were on 'thin ice' re never having provided a serviceable address and that the landlady filed response 48 hours after LA attended, we feel because 'criminal charges' were mentioned.
Any other pertinent points? Based on what you have all said we will keep all the 'deposit related stuff' at the back of the pile and show only the proof of address related info to start with and see how it goes.MFW #185

He he -- court case is at 10:30 am - 90 minutes to go guys.
Please do re-shedule all your timetables for this everyone - this includes faking sikkies, ending school/college early, forgetting to have lunch, turning off the telly, ignoring phonecalls, checking your mobile internet as you run to get a train and any other minor interruptions that may prevent you from getting the very latest news.
have your fingers on the F5 button to refresh galore from around 12:00...MFW #185
