Hi everyone, I'm so sorry I've not caught up with the thread.
I've managed most of the kitchen, just the pots and pans cupboard to go, which is my substitute cupboard. Oven / Hob was still gleaming from its overhaul a few weeks ago, and has been religiously cleaned ever since.
I finally managed to clean out the garage, however, in the process, accidentally threw away the pods from one of the B&G tents which will cost £160!! I raced back to the rubbish tip, and the lovely men tried their best to retrieve it, but it wasn't to be. I'm going to see if insurance covers my dippiness, but if not, it was an enormously expensive garage clear out! I have already fessed up to those who need to know who have been exceptionally kind and said not to worry about replacing, however, morally, I am 100% responsible, and it's not right for the girls funds to be wasted due to my stupid carelessness. I could weep at the sheer waste though, particularly given my dire finances at the moment.
Thank you so much for being there everyone and I will try and catch up with all the posts soon xx0 -

That is what really p's me off with freecycle, if you want something and ask then the least you can do is respond when offered something or turn up when you agree to collect something.
I feel exactly the same. When it works well it is fantastic and rewarding and gives you a real feelgood glow, but when it doesn't.... I generally go back to giving to the charity shops (or the dump) until I can face it again!0 -

I have returned some CDs to my friend and collected a couple of mine from him. Had a nice chat and a bit of a laugh at his daughter on the Wii!
