Unfortunately no. A lot of credit card issuers now use 'online signing' on their online credit card applications.

They started using it a few years ago to help speed up online applications. There would normally be a checkbox saying something like 'I accept the terms and conditions of this credit agreement' - which would be the same box you'd sign if a paper form or paper agreement was posted out to you.

For agreements made online after December 2004, the Consumer Credit (Electronic Communications) Order 2004 allows the signature in the signature box to be replaced by a tick box.
