3, e2save and allianz cornhill
Hi people, I'm sorry if this isn't in the right place but I looked on the insurance section and I couldn't see anything about mobile insurance.
I'm going back a while, October 2004 actually, but I ordered an LG8120 on 3 from e2save. There was an option for the insurance, free for 3 months then £7.99 per month. I didn't want the insurance, so didn't select it. Then in January I got billed for £7.99 from allianz cornhill - the insurance firm. I didn't actually notice until I got my online banking which was around October 2005. I tried to call them, but had no success so I cancelled the DD online.
Now I have no proof that I didn't select the insurance, and I was just going to forget about it (I'd never argue with anyone about anything before!) but the more I think about it, they took my money when I didn't ask them to, and I never made a claim. I've read in other insurance policies that if you don't make a claim you are entitled to ask for your money back. Does anyone think it might be worth looking into? It would come to around £70-£80 altogether.
If anyone could give me some advice on this I'd be very grateful!
