  • ikkleosu - Is 'Footprints In The Sand' the following Daddy's footsteps..slow down a bit Daddy etc.. poem?? If so, my LO's old creche helped him do a Mummy version with his footprints on for me for Father's Day (mostly so he didn't have to go sit in the corner when the other kids were painting their feet because of his lack of Daddy) & I full on cried about it, in a good way.

Not the most helpful story there lol.

  • YummyMummy - lol my DD is the same with stippy tape, next coincidence, traded in my old phone with envirofone last month and got DD a pink trampoline with it, they are soooo cool, keeps them occupied for aaagggggeesss and when they are done, they colapse and sleep like a log, its great!

That's so freaky! He's wanted one for a while but we're at my parents house atm and there's not alot of room. Now he's obsessed with jumping on the furniture my Mother doesn't seem to hate the idea so much :rotfl: He's only having a little blue one from Argos (£19.99 i believe :)) since we we're provisionally offered a second floor flat in Dec so should be moving erm... sometime  and we'll have no garden for a big one.

Aww bless. :) Very cute story whatever relevance.

No, it's the one about walking along the sand with Jesus, seeing one set of footprints "It was then I carried you".

What I've come up with isn't along those lines AT ALL. (I know how helpful of me haha) But it's a poem i've written for lovers, that you give to the other as a token/good luck charm type thing. It has a particular theme/angle which is the thing I don't want to give away. i'm just trying to think where you could put a poem to give to someone that they could keep with them.

I'm trying to think specifically for something for men - ie something to carry in their wallet, but what else might work?

The sort of men I know only have about a tenner & quite-possibly-almost-expired-condoms in their wallets. Can you engrave? Would it work on dog-tags in a similar way to how (some) women would wear soppy lockets?
