Ebay seems to be picking up a bit - have bids on 3 of my items (one of which has 6 watchers!), and watchers on several others.
Also bit the bullet and rang round some local toddler groups and companies to see if I could take my Usborne books in. Had to leave messages mainly, but have got one booking and hopefully some more will follow.0 -

Arsenal are losing, and my baby is being fouled constantly. (Although he is pretty damn sexy when he's angry). The other team are making me so mad...
And OH is just laughing at me and telling me to calm down or he will turn it off. Grrr!!!

We met up on the internet to earn a grand or two,
We chatted and we dribbled and we helped each other through.
The good times and the bad times and the smelly socks and shoes,
We started off with Ebay and we had nothing to lose.
And even if we only make a quid or two we've had
A lovely time in doing it and don't it make you glad!
-my effort lol.
I LOVE my pasta maker, I have been having a lovely time making things then flattening them. Now in the oven. Jo, your little boy sounds so funny and clever!I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.0 -
Who was the whizz with research around here? I have a bit of a challenge!
I've just got some vintage clothes, and I cannot for the life of me trace any info on a particular set. It's a dress and matching coat, I think 60's and looks like silk to my untrained eye. There are two labels in the coat, one shows that it was sold by Jenners Department Store here in Edinburgh (now part of House of Fraser, sadly) and the other says Lily Mono London. It actually still has the old paper tear-out quality label attached to it too, the coat and the dress are both properly lined and immaculate. There are no labels other than a tiny size label, on the dress. Now I've googled my heart out and did get one hit, for a vintage clothes online store, but when I actually looked, I couldn't find anything with the Lily Mono logo. My instinct says it's worth a hell of a lot more than I paid for it, but I don't want to do myself out by not knowing what I'm dealing with......
