Munchki's interview was scheduled for 10.30am, but after her car breaking down en route :eek:, I understand she only made it at around 12.30 and I've just tried calling her, but no reply, so suspect she's still in there. I so hope it goes well, this morning will have most certainly kicked her while she's down.

Ok, going back to see what I've missed, just wanted to update you with what I knew.

Do you know something? I don't actually think we have petty cash lol :rotfl:. Pay and HR are completely outwith my building, its a huge organisation, and pretty much the left hand has not got a damn clue what the right is doing.

I'm sick of talking to snotty women on the phone who make me feel in the wrong about chasing payment for my wages.

Have you got your manager, or your managers manager on the case? I think this is awful, and at least fi you felt they were taking you seriously and trying there best it wouldn't be so bad. Sometimes a comment from higher up the chain is all it takes!!!!?

If they haven't got petty cash they will have a cheque book, and they could write you cheque payable as CASH......... I am sure there must be ways and means, just thye are more bothered about procedure and paperwork grrrrrrrr! Sorry can you tell I ma having one of those days too :rotfl:

MUNCHKI GOT THE JOB!! :T:j:T:j:T

She's been invited to spend the rest of the day with her new team, and to return tomorrow for her first proper day in her new job!! Unfortunately the brilliant news is not without problems, her car's been towed and needs new parts - one of her new team has offered to talk to her OH who is a mechanic, but Munchki has not a bean and can't afford the parts, so no idea how the hell we're going to get her home!

Will update you all if I hear more!

I just let out the biggest squeal and being on reception I am sure that they think that I am insane making all these funny noises to myself. I have never been more ecstactic to read that crafty toots. I am so happy!
