Wayne, 0845 numbers should only cost you the same as a local call, so not expensive really. The only thing is that they aren't included in your free minutes if you are using a mobile.
Saucy, the site looks brill, can't wait to see my cat notebook
Hope everyone has had a good evening, I'm full of good wine and food and am off to bed.

Wayne. go to http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/businesses/tmastarting-up-in-business.shtmlou
there you will find everything you need to know about starting up. there is no reason to have to ring the hmrc as you can register the business online. They dont care that you are selling tshirts etc, only that you get yourself registered as a business. Absolutely every question you could have to start with can be answered there will just take some of your time in reading it and making notes! We have all had to do it, and overall it is completely painless. Just keep good records, like your ebay invoice for the stock you ordered, that is your receipt. You will have to keep your own business records and no they do not send you forms like that to record your purchases or sales, that is up to you to arrange and manage. Really it is all very simple, just spend a couple of hours reading and bet you will find all your answeres.

Argh more snow
My Greenday tickets arrived today so well chuffed, just need to keep them somewhere safe till June.
Hmm, need to think something to make money while snowed in ...0 -
wayne just get a cash book or in normal notebook have theses columns DATE, IN, OUT, TOTAL. record all your transactions.
so if you sell 1 shirt on ebay put 3.99 in IN column and then put any fees in OUT column and postal costs in OUT column.
Just keep a running record and you should be fine.
If you have any receipts you could keep them together and give each a number as you go along and put an extra column in your book for receipt number too.
any forms you get from hmrc will probably be for giving them your self employed details or doing a tax return at the end of the year. the tax return is a summary of your totals so they can see how much you've received and paid out over the year and work out how much tax , if any, you need to pay.

I officially withdraw my recommendation of TalkTalk, got my line restricted last night a 8.05, they close at 8, got hold of them this morning and it wsa because I have an outstanding balance of .....48p, they billed me wrong, only just got it working again. Basturds!

Saucy - love your website, can't wait for the new bits to be added, really easy to find on google, well done x
Munchki - Please come and help me *sort* thru them, coming in a van would be good!
Evenstar - list them in bulk, but separate the sizes, people don't tend to go for mixed size bundles.
