Back from music - everyone been busy this morning?

Saucy, the article is awesome, thank you :-)

I went to music this morning ready to tell the sax teacher that I was stopping. We're in a group and I really want/need to move faster than the group is moving and I'm getting a bit bored, but I'm not ready for his next group up yet. Anyway, turns out someone else from the group is bored too, so I led a mini revolt and suggested a different book to work from as the pieces are a lot more interesting in that one, so hopefully things will look up now. Just need to find time to practice in amongst all this other stuff I've got on!

Chilling with a coffee and some free bingo at the moment, then I'll disappear into the back room to pack up the two pieces that have sold, take pics of some more bits, and listen to the footie on the radio. Bliss - craft and football LOL.

  • jo, do tell, there are tonnes of the things! whats the idea?

oh, market stall you suggested yesterday, would be great if it wasn't already taken, we don't really have proper markets here for some reason!

Munchki - Am in Lowestoft :-(

I guess your nearest airport is stansted? Not too near really ... otherwise I would be grabbing that cheap flight and filling my case with books! I am starved of easy access to cheap books, and I love reading - the thought of being able to rummage through 70 boxes of books is bliss ...
  • Rachel - please! I will supply tea and biscuits!:j

Amber - How much is freight to Spain??

Mambury - 13 boxes in and I have found half a box of veggie cookbooks

  • I've lost my eBay mojo! When things have loads of watchers and are pretty much guareteed to sell it easy to get motivated, but my latest venture is a real hard slog. So far I've been selling mostly bits from round the house and they've all sold well, then I bought a job lot of 100 items and made a great profit. So I upgraded to a job lot of 500 items and they're on a real go slow! I've spent hours sorting through them, more hours listing - and still very few sales :(
Think I hit lucky with the first lot I bought, not so much with the seond one!!

  • MummyandPaige, I so envy you! I admit to having a book 'problem' but I as far as I'm aware there's no rehab for it!! :rotfl: If I had a big enough house, I'd have taken up on all those books too, I hope you enjoy sorting through them and perhaps I can live vicariously through you! :D

I'm at work today :( and been ultra busy, hopefully this quiet spell will last a little, as I came armed with crochet but haven't had a chance to get any done. Sigh. I know when I get home that I can't afford to sit and stop until the house is something less like a warzone too, so got my work cut out later! Still, hopefully once it's done I can sit and blether for a bit, before doing some more listing.

Great to hear you sounding so much happier Paulabear! :j
