Mroning, sorry afternoon all! :rotfl: busy rushing around trying to get my dads flat ready and thought I was doing really well but managed to forget to take the keys to his meter cupboards so got to go back to put money on the meters grrr.
Anyway had a quick read through. Thank you for the kind comments about my blog, much appreciated, had a bit of a confidence blip!
Yummy, I have a 3 year old, and no way does that sound like a good environment:eek: I think you made the best call, hope you manage to sort everything out. Def. send your local MP an email.....
Aud - I have ben here since the beginning but I'm not doing as well as you!! (Mind you if I counted my OH's OT and bonus (which we didn't think we were getting) we would be at over £2k.....but he tells me I can't....he forgets that when he does OT its not just him doing the extra work :rotfl:...mind you we need most of it to clear our credit card and replace our broken tv stand, and pay the car insurance.... grrr)
Right got to go, just seen the time, need to get my LO to nursery!!Life is a work in progress0 -
Afternoon everyone, I've been a busy bee at work so not had much chance to get on and say hello today. But it's lunchhtime now and most of my work for the day is completed.
Just catching up on the last few pages. Twitter is playing up for me today and won't let me find people, maybe it's the works computer. my twittername is findapennyuk and I've made a lsit of everyone who's posted theirs so I can follow when I get home tonight.
Yummy- that flat sounds terrible. I'm quite a stocky bloke and can look quite intimidating if I try, but I wouldn't want that sort of thing happening outside my door. Even if you were to tell them to move on, you often hear about have a go hero's ending up in hospital. And when you have kids, it's not even an option.
Welcome to the new guys. I'm sure we'll speak chat in due course. I'm relatively new myself ( about a week or so now) and I find this thread great for ideas and encouragement, although often distracting, lol.
Travel notebooks - great idea. When we went to Egypt we bought something similar when we were there and every other page had little pockets for postcards, reciepts, flyers etc. It is always the first thing people comment on, saying how good and unique it is when we showed it off. Unfortuantely, we didn't keep it safe, it was damaged and over time pages ended up here there and everywhere.
I was messing with my blog yesterday and think I've found a way to update twitter and facebook automatically when I post a new blog comment. Needs a little more testing but looks promising.
Well last night, all I dreamt about was ornamental pigs. When I checked each one on ebay a lot weren't listed but at the same time there was a few that were on and not getting any bids. I've looked around and think I may have found a specialist fan site and forum for trades, sales etc so will try there first.Would like to: Retire at 54. 19yrs .Clear mortgage by 50. 16yrs. Hi All, I am trying to be disciplined today and it paid off : ) Managed to write three more blog posts and I decided I am going to do this online interview for a wedding website. It can't hurt it has a wide readership so I am going to give it a whirl!
Also, on my google adventures I found this website it gives loads of advice on home businesses so I hope that it helps someone http://www.enterprisenation.com/
Em - Congrats on the promotion really glad that you went for it.
nixinixi - glad you got your confidence back! The blog is great x
Saucy - hope your hand is feeling better! x
Yummymummy - shame about the flat, I just hope that you are able to get something sorted with it soon. It's just a shame the options are crap at the moment. Is it worth trying Citizen's advice Bureau?
Munchki - As always my luck is with you
Hugs and positive energy to all who need it! (I have been speed reading apologies and hugs to anyone I missed out)

Well done to your sister!!! My turn next :rotfl:I am somebody. I am me. I like being me. And I need nobody to make me somebody! Louis L'Amour0 -
Munchki just a thought - why not set up a logo design site! I know you really want something permanent but it might be worth selling ready made logos through istockphoto for a little extra money on the side. Or the business enterprise services - you could see if you could leave your details so anyone starting a new business could use you. ????10K 2010 challenge £3202.59/£10000
