  • The local paper comes out today so i'll have a look through there this afternoon. Have slightly reorganised my 'to-eBay' pile so it makes a bit more sense and will be easier to list, will try and get cracking with that in a bit. Sod 'getting through the weekend in starting again Monday' I WILL get something useful done today! :j

What did we all used to do without this thread?? :o:rotfl:

Thats the spirit! Good Luck xx

ETA: If you do find somewhere you like but can't afford/move straight away, tell the landlord you need to give a months notice for the place you are in atm and offer them a holding deposit (will be taken off deposit total) of something like £50 and they will usually take it off the market for you.

Morning! My laptop has decided it wants to break so I'm having to use the OH's computer . The wee man decided the pull the charger lead and its screwed up something inside, by the time I pay someone to look at it then fix it I'll be better buying a new one!! Never, ever buy an Acer!!!!!

That and I have a HUGE spot, argh!! The rather expensive moisturiser has calmed it down though!! Think i'm going to go back to Lush Ultrabland as it was ok on my skin.
    On a more positive note:
Found out my OH has bought me tickets to see Greenday in June. There technically for my birthday in April but I'm all excited :jMissed out last year cos I was in hospital giving birth when the tickets went on sale. Sold out within hours

Few more bids on my eBay stuff which is good.

    And its stopped snowing!!!

    Morning all..

just a quickie to say hi!

Welcome to the newbies... Babymoo and Aud Lee..... you will be amazed how things change for you just posting and chatting on this thread.... it does make a hell of a difference!

Yummy - bad luck on the flat... if the council did not explain the terms of the lease re the months rent and council tax (I don;t think you owe the tax as you didn't live there, get onto the council tax dept to see what they say) then take it further.... Visit CAB to see if they can help... if you contact the papers make it your last resort as I;m sure the council could make life difficult for you in future if you rock the boat too much.... have they given you anything in writing to say you owe this money?

I am going down the park this afternoon with the school as they need drivers (nearest park is 25 min drive away!) and then swimming lesson number 2... I have about an hour now so I shal be frantically listing on TL ready to upload later.....

Pop back in a while.... see ya!

there are more tickets coming out in april... my friend managed to bag some last year.... I think it was about the 5th... first sunday in april is the usual.... the dealine for paying when booked in oct is in a few day so there will be some that dont pay, cancel etc.....

I am debating whether to take DS.... he will be 6 but is seriously into music... he prefers punk and heavy metal with The Clash reg being played in his room at 6 in the morning..... I'll give him bloody White Riot..... We will be leaving DD with nanny and grandad as she will only be 3 1/2 and is very whingy!!
