    Hi Hales *waves*

Both and more besides, whatever the couple want I can do, tailor make them to each couples specifics. Who says favors have to be in boxes or bags? :)

LOL babymoo, I keep doing that. As I'm typing something starts to stir in the grey matter and by the end of the paragraph it's a fully fledged idea. Like last night when I wrote about my weird dream and how I should have a notebook by the bed for my dreams and by the end of the paragraph I had Saucy making dream diaries! Sometimes just chewing the cud with people on here will help you firm up some woolly ideas.

Favours to me are what a couple gives their guests as a thank you for going to their day and as a reminder for the rest of their lives.

God help my DP when we plan our wedding :D lol

2cats1kid I have a diary by my bed but I always sleep straight through lol. Wonder wether my daddy will take some professional pics of my stuff to make a portfolio if I can make enough. hmmm....
  • Thanks jo, that's the one.

Well my sewing machine helped me produce a few bits and pieces that might be workable, i.e. sellable, with a bit more work. Keeping it in the Catty theme, I am going to try my hand at making some cat toys. Judging by the trouble I've had finding anything I like, I will have a captive audience if I can make something a bit different.

Saucy, I'm dying to see the notebook you designed for me!! Oh and I've been meaning to mention - when I went on a travelling holiday a couple of years ago, I got a notebook given to me that had like an envelope in thickish card as a page every 3 or 4 pages. It was fantastic for putting tickets in or feathers or niknaks that I picked up on my travels and I could write about them on the pages in between. Not sure if that is do-able, but might be something you could look into once you are established.

I see what you mean, I am starting to get little ideas just by replying to you lovely people :)

I would suggest keeping a notebook to hand when reading this thread or chatting, the ideas that come out of nowhere are fantastic.

Write a pro and con list perhaps as well

A materials list, dividing it out to the different areas you would like to get involved in i.e. weddings, holidays, children, adults etc (only guessing here sorry)

Start taking pictures of things that you create, am very happy to help you with doing a brochure or web stuff as will lots of others here.

and most importantly, if you feel stuck or are confused, just ask, really friendly lot here and very very helpful!
