Wondered where you were Nix! How did the writing go yesterday?

Hey - writing has actually started really well, :j and I have a clear plot outline in my head :j , doing some research at the moment to make sure the bits I fill in are right for my young readers :D . Move over JK Rowling here comes Nixinixi!!!! :rotfl: Seriously I am happy and I can't stop thinking it through - just wish I had more time to devote to it. Thank you for asking!!!

Unfortunately I decided before i read you advice - i've gone for the Sherbet Fountain! Had lots of moments of wishing i hadn't! We've made the tube and i've got the letters ready to sew on. Just need to work out how to turn my face and head into a bendy stick of liquorice! :rotfl:I like to make things difficult for myself! (p.s. sorry for the disturbed sleep - was that you? ooops! x)

    Part of the Furniture
Today I have mostly told Wednesday customers of the move. In the main they were supportive. 2 want to carry on coming but on a different day. May lose 1. The rest I think will move to the new venue. Fingers crossed it will work out. Need to book the new venue and hope no-one else has snaffled Wednesdays in the meantime.

I am in love with the watercolour and stitching thing. :) It even makes my rubbish watercolours look half decent. :) I've done another couple of watercolours to stitch tomorrow - just finishing off last night's. I'll do a mount for it and post a pic of it somewhere for you to see. I think it may even go on the wall, which is amazing as I normally hate having anything of mine on display.

Hey Em - I would have done the sherbert too - but couldn't think how to describe how I would have done it just in text on here. Lot easier to describe ideas for a rubiks cube. and definitely wouldn't have been able to describe my idea for how to do a space hopper:eek::eek:
Think it was only in my head because my sleep was disturbed rather than being the disturbance if that makes you feel better;)
My even nosier question which you are under no pressure to answer is if you decided what to do about the promotion.

  • Oops, sorry Mambury. Thanks for talking to me, though :)

Nix - I'm so excited for you, can't wait to read it :) I've been wondering how you've been getting on all day, lol. My knuckles aren't hurting anymore, just stiff and bit sore. Thanks for asking :)

2Cats thats brilliant, I'm glad the move is being accepted well. And I can't wait to see your work!

haha i did actually find a space hopper costume but decided against it as it looked unflattering! Like being a sherbet fountain is going to be any more flattering! Most people are going as disco divas with flowery dresses and platforms etc. Oh dear, stiff drink required before i get into the taxi i think!

I decided to give the promotion a go, hence things being so hectic! I gave it a lot of thought and decided that it might not be offered for another few years as it's replacing someone who left. Like someone said, i can always go backwards if needed. Things might alter if babies come along though... :) here's hoping! x
