well nothing much else to report another £10 cleaning money in the pot and have extra wages due this month of about £280 in my hand,will need it for spain next week though so wont be counting that have decided am going to take a note book and jot down everything i need to do an makes concrete plans for the things that are in place at the moment. catch up later way to have a wee nap

Oh, and as far as the Princes Trust funds and advice.... contact your local business link... as far as I am aware they run one day courses in the basics or they will (depending on area) visit you in your home if you are unable to get there.... Casey - the site looks FAB... I can't beleive it only took you five hours.... WHy not try and source some more dropshippers with some lower priced items like toys/decorations etc.... the lower priced items might help the site traffic and then bump you up google a bit more making you more likely to sell a few of the bigger items...

This evening I shall mostly be ebaying again! I've been at it all day pretty much and I still have 1 and 1/2 boxes to go I am starting to loose the will to live..... think of brand new profitable business..... and xmas 2010 in the maldives/carribean etc with you lot.....

Mabel, i think 25% will attract more people's attention but it depends how much of your profit it will eat up.

How about saying you can get up to 25% off, and only put 25% offer on the highest priced seren item, 20% on a lower priced item and 10% on the lowest?

Just a thought.

I think it is a great idea, maybe do it as a first time purchase discount? I think some select wording would be good so that people dont think you are always that cheap, if that makes sense. I was speaking to someone the other day and we were talking about this very thing and how the mind of a consumer sometimes works. Are you sure you want to do 25%? Is there still enough profit in it to do so?

Funny how will buy something for 24.99 but not 25.00 etc, ok maybe I am dribbling here.
