Nixi - Okay how to start..... as far as suppliers go, I basically started with seaching google...let say for towels.... so I started with permutations of
towel manufacture / distrubuter / wholesale/ uk / supplier.... etc. I tried to think of what the firms might call themselves. I carried on for a few pages into google. I also looked for catalogue overs / ex chainstore stuff etc.... A lot of the links I have found are through other sites. All the time I was looking at competitors to see if they mentioned manufacturers and brands and then did more searches based on that. A few I have found through blogs, forums (eg item / lifestyle specific). Once I had an idea of competitors and looked at suppliers I was able to see who got what from where, tried to work out their mark up etc.... If I found several sites (retail) selling the same items and knowing (all guess work mind!) where they got their stock from, I could guage their authenticity. I also looked at what was selling on ebay and did searches on wholesale for specific items.... eg pink flower hand towels wholesale/distributer.....
It has taken up most of my time for the last three or four weeks... in between bursts of ebay, but I feel well worth it as I think I have quite a good understanding of whats out there and whats selling....
If you are unsure of what you want to trade in, then try a few different things in small quantities to test the market first.... do you have an interest or do you see a problem that can be solved by such and such a product? You have kids, you have a blog about kids... how about something related to kids....such as clothes (hard to compete with the likes of primark though!), eduational toys, books, craft supplies for kids etc.... just thinking out loud!

I went to Sainsburys with OH...seem to live in there, and had to stop every few minutes because of exhaustion, which isn't too good in the snow. Got lots of ibuprofen and heat patches, so feeling okay at the moment. I really appreciate all of your support
Amber, thank you for the information on Spanish post, I'm looking through it now. Hoping to fly over at Easter for a visit, keep your fingers crossed for us, lol.
Mambury, thank you for the offer. If you are sure I'll certainly have a good think about that! Of course I'd pay
Back to crafting now, but feeling a lot more optimistic.
I meant it Saucy!! you need to camp out at the doctors, its not fair that you are not being taken seriously.... I would go to the doctors and refuse to leave until you are seen, by a different doctor too for another opinion.... With the NHS you have to make them listen... I know!! I had fertility problems that took three years to be diagnosed.... nothing like you have luvvie, but I understand the frustration of not being listened to.... You need to get this sorted (as much as possible) before you go to spain....sealed pot challange #572!Garden fund - £0!!:D£0/£10k0 -

As close I have ever gotten to sage in a work capacity was selling their software.....but no, the reference was made regarding me having to take a sage test for a job interview today, the interview happened but they changed their mind on the test!I am somebody. I am me. I like being me. And I need nobody to make me somebody! Louis L'Amour0 -

ah ok, sorry. selling their software? now that's something I've thought of before as they send their products direct so no need to have own storage but they have a whole network or resellers and distributors so it's apprently quite difficult to hit their sales targets.
I could be wrong though as not looked into it a great deal.Would like to: Retire at 54. 19yrs .Clear mortgage by 50. 16yrs. Clear Secured debts by 43. 8yrs.Clear Unsecured debt by 39. 4yrs.
