Must admit the whole 99p thing just bugs me. I automatically just round up to the nearest £ and it annoys me that people think I'm stupid when they put 99p on the end - like it makes a difference to whether I buy it or not. Sorry, but it's one of my pet peeves :)

I agree 2 cats but I think that was because as I used to be manager of a shop where everything ended in 99p I got fed up with going to the bank for pennys!
  • Thanks everyone :)
OH just agrees with everything. To test this I told him I was going to sell it for £740, and he nodded and agreed.

have put the link in my profile - is that allowed? Just need to take decent pictures now and update the blurb
i would make it £6.99 for your notebook -you know that psychological thing.

Skint - :jWell done you!!!!! :T

Love it, but can I make a suggestion.....I'm not seeing the rose the way I would if it was in a button hole, could the photo be rotated or use close up photos of them in use, ie attached to someone (but without seeing the someone!)? Just feel that it would showcase your work more. Well done I know how much effort that took to do....fantastic!

  • Hugs Nikki, sounds like you're getting the brunt of the family, glad to hear your OH is siding with you.

That's Munchki on her way home now with strict instructions to drive carefully and stop often! I wish I had a bigger place and she could have stayed over, but nevertheless we've had a brilliant afternoon. I am delighted to have made such a fantastic friend, all thanks to this thread! :T

Needless to say, I've done absolutely nothing today in the way of anything constructive for this challenge, too busy dribbling, so I guess I should start on something now!

Skint, well done on the Folksy listing!!!

well done skintbint. You can have up to 3 photos on Folksy, so you can use an extra one to show it in use as a buttonhole. Might be worth putting in your listing that you can do extra to order as people might want 6 or 12 or whatever for a bridal party.
