My first post but have been stalking for 2 years for LOL!!!! and have also been mislead by PIL loancheck
Have sent my concerns into investigation team but sadly think it will be too late as the clock is ticking very quickly towards time statute barred!!
The claim is still with Dawson Hart however they have kept me up to date regularly it is just is not an important priority to them I guess
Hind sight is a glorious thing0 -

Hi boppy, when you say statute barred are you meaning cause of your complaint getting through the courts. As far as FOS are concerned (and the courts as far as i am aware) there is a 3 year and 6 year rule. It is 3 years from when you should have been aware of a problem and 6 years from when the problem occured BUT this can be overcome I thought by section 32 limitations act (and FOS also look at it this way) in that if you only just became aware of the problem (like with PPI cause of media attention) then you still have a chance. Perhaps someone else will confirm this to you.
Also boppy, how did you come to go with PIL? Most probably not from here as you have only just posted but in what way were you misled by them? Can you say anything on here that might help others.0 -
Hi guys, haven't been around for a few days. WOW! we appear to have been noticed then!
have emailed MSE about my woes with loancheck/watson's etc.
Re comments about the insurance. No, never had any documentation or confirmation of any insurance being taken out on my behalf.
I was told on my last 'positive' letter that they were moving on to set a court date for one of my cases. But I believe this was for disclosure (whatever that means) I'm afraid i'm just not clued up on this at all. In all honesty looking through my letters and recalling telephone conversations, I haven't had anything productive since about April of last year when I was told that things would go quiet for a few months and not to worry because this was normal. Of course it never went anywhere from then on in.
Maybe at last, collectively, we may get enough feathers ruffled to get somewhere.:T0 -
