Sony Ericsson M600i?

Options
Hello all,

I'm thinking about upgrading my phone (Nokia 3100) to something more current. I've been considering getting some kind of smartphone, and the new Sony Ericsson M600i looks like a nice bet (http://www.sonyericsson.com/m600).

I'm not too worried about it not having a camera, I'd just like to be able to check email, look on the internet, send texts, use some kind of calendar and download further applications to the phone.

I've also noticed that Samsung are releasing a new smartphone, the i320, does anyone think it might be worth waiting for that instead?

I'm currently on o2 online pay as you go, which I'm quite happy with, so has anyone got an idea on where I can get the M600i for the cheapest price on PAYG or sim free? I may possibly be interested in a contract deal if there's any really good ones going, but I don't want to change my number. Also, if there's any more techy people here, is there a half decent NES / Gameboy (or similar) emulator which will run on either of these phones?

Thanks for any help!

Ive had an m600i for a couple of weeks, not very good. Main problems

Dreadful backlight in sunlight -in fact the main reason I sent it back.

Vodfone icons make it hard to use properly

Battery life the worst Ive ever come across

Ive owned all SE P series P800, P900, P910 and now as Ive swapped for the M600i I sent back, a P990i.

    Avoid.......
