Talktalk/tiscali billing help

hi everyone, we get our home phone and broadband from talk talk (was tiscali), when the takeover happened we got a huge bill (£144) for the month of january, after enquiries we realised tiscali had not been charging us for our broadband for 5-6 months and thats why it was so high, fair enough if we owe it we pay it, unfortunatley as we didnt expect such a high bill there wasnt enough funds in my partners account to cover the direct debit so the payment failed, this was on feb 1st, they tried again on feb 5th and the payment was taken no problem as funds had been added to bank account. however since then they have been phoning us claiming we still owe them the money, despite my partner telling them the payment was taken on the 5th. we even contacted the bank who confirmed the payment has cleared. we checked our feb bill online today and they are planning to take the money again on march 1st. how do we get them to realise the bill has been paid?! any advice appreciated, sorry its a long one!x
