why cant i download office 2010?

i tried and it said i need to have vista, xp and something else. i have vista so i cant see what is wrong.

it should download fine on any OS. I downloaded both versions (32bit & 64bit) using my Ubuntu box.

Do you have any service packs installed?
to check, click start > right click my computer > properties and look for 'service pack X' (Where X should be 1 or 2 (hopefully 2 as SP2 is the latest service pack for vista))
If it doesn't say anything about a service pack, then run windows update from the control panel0 -

You should not need to re download just re run the install from the last download. Gaming guy was better idea my last post was win7 and stage 4 errors sorry
