asda on line shopping

Hi there
Had my shopping delivered today and I a blazing- crap service.
I have only been doing online shopping for 1 month. The first time was excellent, the lad was very friendly gave me my bag of substitutes first and asked if I wanted them, all my fresh and frozen were separate, and he didn't rush me. Excellent. and because it was the first time. I had to answer a survey asking what is was like.
However the last two visits have been really poor- rushing me standing looking at me cos I can't move the bags quick enough and then shoving this machine in my face to sign that I have checked them. Ha! chance would be a fine thing. Everything was shoved in together and the bag labelled substitutes didn't even have the right things in.
What I want to know is: which standard of service is most true to life, and is TESCO online shopping any better?

never tied the Asda online shopping but mum is going to give it a go, she always goes by car to the supermarket, the traffic and the hassle of parking somewhere it has got to be worth a go doing it online and save on petrol too.Signature Removed MSE Forum Team 20

It may be worthwhile getting your mum to find out a bit more about the other suupermarkets online as I am pretty unimpressed with ASDA at the mo0

she only goes to Asda so not bothered about the other online supermarkets although i have joined the Tesco and the Sainsburys one though.Signature Removed MSE Forum Team 20

have you done a shop online yet with Tesco or Sainsbury's?0

i've always used Tesco's and i'm happy with them. I used Asda once, only cos I couldnt get my designated delivery time with Tesco (left it too late) but i wasnt home to receive that one (hubby was) so i cant comment.0

I think I am going to give TESCO's a go.I sent a compliaint via email on Thursday to ADSA who promise to answer in 24hrs- not heard a thing.0

I've tried asda and tesco depending who has coupons and prefer asda as they substitute items of much higher value if they haven't got the product instore. Also as they have been late twice had delivery refunded!
But seems now to be much better at asda more organised and items always in seperate bags eg dairy and subs in a seperate bag labled with a huge red sticker so easy to check.
Maybe down to individual store.0 -
I used to use Asda but found them utterly incompetent. The fruit would often arrive mouldy or tasteless, they were never on time, they missed a couple of my bags once and delivered them to someone else. It was just problem after problem, and after sending them 3 letters of complaint in a row and still receiving no reply, I gave up on them. I now use Tesco and have found the service to be far better. They have only been late once in about a year, and they phoned first to let me know. They usually have everything I want, and if they give me an unsuitable substitute or a damaged product they never quibble over refunding me.0

im prety new to online shopping and find asda great. as previous poster says any substitute items are bigger or better with no extra charge. ie 30 of something instead of the ordered 4 for free.
im waiting for that to happen with lager.......0 -
I used asda once, never again. Sub for the worst stuff, we have organic skimmed milk, they subbed us with full fat non organic, wanted kingsmill malted grain, got thier cheapo bog stwandard brown bread. everything v short dated.
Never again:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0
