These are the categories that I used which tied up with the accounts form that was sent at the end of the year.
Income Support/ Pension Credit
State Retirement Pension
Occupational Pension
Account Interest
food
Care Fees/ LA charges for care
Gas/Elec/Tel/Water
COP Fees
Insurance: Building /contents
Capital spending.(keep full details)
Gifts (keep details of recipients and amounts)
Deputy Expenses
Security Bond
Expenditure on Property
Bank Transfers/Money in
clothing /toiletries
personal spending
Hope that helps and keep receipts for everything.
I did my accounts weekly on Excel and kept all receipts in a shoe box as I would never have remembered everything.0 -
A lot depends on what category you have been placed in, 2, 2A etc on what they require and that depends on the amount of the estate and your relationship to the person.
There are example accounting forms you can download on their website.
