So far, thanks to Martin and this wonderful website, I've been sent a cheque for nearly £4700 for being missold an endowment - even though I thought I couldn't claim, saved £93 on my car insurance, saved £175 in our mortgage pig thanks to a forum tip, cleared my credit card and got some really cheap flights and the hotel we wanted at half the price of Expedia.
So I "reinvested" the windfall in a second hand SLK, having shopped around for a good loan rate.
Next thing you know, I'll be opening my bank statements!
