Easyjet luggage charge

I'm about to book a flight with easyjet. Through their website the cost is £107, and to check in 1 bag it is £18. I'll be away for a week so will need to do this! but presumably I can bring an item of hand luggage on board doesn't cost anything (?)

Anyway, booking the same flight through ebookers is £125, but I can't work out if this cost includes baggage fees (it seems to indicate everything is inclusive)... So through which website should I book my flight!?

Any ideas? thanks! Bear in mind booking through ebookers I also get a little cashback through quidco, but if I'm paying another £18 on top of £125 then I may aswell book through easyjet.

Just got right through to booking stage on ebookers and you have to pay extra for baggage.

    Since when????

easyjet always had a no maximum weight for hand baggage as far as I was aware, have they changed it recently?

    No, they haven't changed it:

Save where the limits set locally are more restrictive, passengers are permitted one standard piece of hand baggage to a volume limit of 56x45x25cm (including wheels and pockets) (“Standard Hand Baggage”). It must fit without force into the gauges provided at check-in or departure gates. No weight restriction applies within reasonable limits — i.e. a passenger must be able to place the piece of luggage safely in the overhead storage bins without assistance.
