i ordered mine at about the same time. if they've had over 200 orders yesterday after it was posted on here and most of the items had around 50 or less in stock then its not looking very good. i'll be amazed if mine turns up, hope it does though as girlfriends been pestering me for an mp3 player for ages and already told her i've got her one:rolleyes:0

I also have awaiting order response and CityLink - must be a good sign (I hope!!) - this is getting interesting although I think it is going to be the case where some people get and some do not - hmmmm
PS ordered at 21:55The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing:)0 -

Thats pretty daft. If this was a misprice and not a stock clearance then that would be a good idea (to delete large orders) however, it doesnt seem to be. A person or company who wishes to order bulk goods from them should be allowed to do so and they should be happy to accept their business as they are obviously making money out of it themselves as it is not a misprice.
Thats my take on the situation. How many people have actually received their goods? Im not sure whether i want to trust this company. They might be like Apple and take your money and take ages to refund it if they cant supply the goods!0 -

Is it daft? If you were a company with a website with no stock management system and suddenly discovered that you couldn't satsify demand would you choose to satisfy a large number of smaller orders and hence keep a large number of customers happy or a small number of people who placed large orders? I would choose the former as the former are more likely to be using the products they buy and subsequently be happy (and possibly use the site again) whereas the latter are probably money making Ebayers who don't get any personal pleasure from the products they are buying and provide no repeat business.0 -

If they are Ebayers as you are thinking then yes they would repeat business...I would. If i could buy a product from a company that is always at that price and can be sold for more elsewhere then i would buy from the company again and again and again and again. Making myself a tidy profit and the company would also make a tidy profit. Thats Business.0 -
I think they know that you wont be back again to their company. I dont think they sell dongles for 99p all year round, or Zen Micros for £60.Be nice0

I was just offering an alternative view to yours.... You said it was 'daft' to withhold orders for customers ordering large amounts of single products. I don't think it is - you only upset a few customers and hence get less customer complaints to handle if you handle it the way they seem to be doing for one thing.... They seem to be satisying orders from end users rather than 'business' customers.0 -
boo
well, its unfair they don't appear to be doing first come first serve :-(
i ordered at 20:30, and people with later orders are getting through before me!
i can understand the situation, with wanting to satisfy more people with single orders, but its strange, the first time where ordering more from a company is a BAD thing :-(
ah well, im not as hopefull as getting it now :-(
next step, has anyone GOT a confirmation of dispatch?
or has anyone got an email saying order cancelled?
or if you are stuck and payment recieved, is that order cancelled?0
