@bat999. Interesting but can these free yet unloved extras not be uninstalled in the usual manner, or with a removal program like Revo?0
-
Yes, I'm sure they can.
I think that the idea of those de-crapify programs is to automate the process, take everything off in one go.Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.0 -

It seems a reasonable deal, but is it likely I can obtain similar cheaper or better at the same price elsewhere? Maker must have reasonable reputation;).
Think this looks pretty good for the price - though I am better with laptops than desktops.0 -
I think this is not good value. Once you go above the baseline dell overcharge. No graphics card in a nearly £600 pc??????0
-
Are you allowing for the 23" monitor and the Office H&S in your assessment? I just did a config to similar standard on PC Specialist and it came more without Office H&S.
I would appreciate knowing what you consider one could get ready made for the Dell price.
Phrase "dell baseline overcharge" has me head scratching.

Hi , I mean that if you want more than basic system dell overcharge eg they often want more fore a cpu upgrade than the new cpu costs ,yet they have already charged for a cpu.
I didn't add anything for office I don't use it
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/169049 23 hd monitor £109
ps I'd keep an eye out for reduced systems at tesco, HUKD ,BUY IT NOW ETC.0 -
Exclusion of a monitor and Office brings price down to £417
I've done other comparisons and most still come out dearer. Too often also they seem geared to the games sector, even if not so listed, with larger flashy cases.
Life of such companies. Hmmm?0 -
Buy it now....is that part of Ebay. If not what is web address? Tx.0
