Nokia 6300 Memory cards

Hey everyone,

I currently have a 2gb micro sd card in my nokia 6300 and was wondering if I would be able to get a 4gb micro sd memory card for it. I have looked everywhere and managed to get a 4gb micro sdhc card which I know now is not the correct card for it.

offtek.co.uk claim to sell 4 and 8 gig versions (says Class 4 not sure what that means).

The largest (micro) SD card is 2GB. Anything larger is an SDHC card (or rarely more obscure hacked formats which are likely to cause problems). Without checking, I'm willing to bet that the Nokia 6300 doesn't support SDHC.

I worked out the only way I would be able to get a 4gb micro sd card is by getting one from china on ebay and I can't imagine that its the best thing to do

Further supporting what I've said. Very few useful electronics would only exist in China, meaning either (a) It's fake or (b) They omitted "HC" or (c) It's one of the ones not conforming to the SD standard that has a minimal chance of working.
