Evening All!
I have just had a delicious steak, homemade roast pots with some new pots that needed using asap and a mix of vegetables. Topped off with BBQ sauce :T
And, it was most delicious!
Have made pancakes [early i know, but i couldn't wait!] for dessert later on and even baked a Bread and Butter pudding ready for tomorrow!
I'm feeling very clever :rotfl:0 -
I made homemade macaroni cheese and put four homemade ready meals in the freezer. If i was to buy them they would be two quid a time!I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -

Not at all OS - we are about to order an Indian takeaway
Day didn't flow as planned so our planned tea became lunch - we are whacked, hungry and am also sending DH out for a bottle of red. Actually on the MS thing, it isn't too bad as we get a meal deal from our takeaway for under a tenner including delivery and have it over 2 nights. I am sooooo looking forward to it  Love and compassion to all x0 -
:jWoohoo we won the rugby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :j:beer:
I have no nerves left after watching it, can't believe Wales didn't remember how to play rugby til the 77th minute! But hey we won so it was all good. There was a lovely atmosphere in the pub afterwards. It was nice to go to my old local, haven't been since Sept. It's always homely and friendly there. It's the only pub I feel comfortable walking into on my own and waiitng there on my own for people.
I have new haircut too. Quite like it. I collected my GHD's so hair should look good always now :rotfl:
I decided on fajitas for tea, they are cooking now. DVD and glass of wine later.
Have a good night all

Really easy tea tonight. One of my all time favourites, and something my mum used to often cook when we were kids - cabbage and ribs - delicious

Evening everyone...
It's been a bit of a lazy day for me - I was so tired all week that I think I needed it. I did go through my papers and shredded loads, so at least I don't have piles of reciepts, bills and invoices lying around anymore.
I also did all my washing. I even put my winter coat in the washing machine even though it is dry clean only. It is on it's last legs anyway so thought I'd risk it.
I've been watching my guilty secret - Come Dine with Me. It is just so cringeworthy!
I had kippers on a bagel for brekkie this morning which was YUM! They were reduced to only 66p for 4!
I made lentil soup for lunch which wasn't particularly nice. It had a slight floral note - not sure where that came from! I still ate it though.
Supper is reduced meatballs from M&S. I don't really like them and they are extemely greasy but they need eating. I will smother them in a spicy sauce and am sure they'll be fine.
Have a really lovely evening everyone, and a lovely, romantic Valentines tomorrow.
LMan plans and God laughs...Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.0 -
I made panaculty and boiled new potatoes for dinner. Mopped up with bread and butter...not healthy, not a stick of veg in sight....but bl00dy lovely and just what we all needed to warm us up!Climbing back on the OS wagon after a short vacation to Recklessness
