There's always a risk buying on Ebay (sorry). I work for one of the networks and we get about 3 or 4 calls a week from people who've bought a iPhone off the bay and then find either it's blocked or gets blocked because the owners either reported it lost/stolen or its been obtained with a fraudulent acc or upgrade.
Just make sure that the Ebayer you're buying from has lots of good feedback and you should be ok....0
