I got the Halifax Electron card but it charged me £1.50 for my Easyjet flight

Halifax will charge you if the booking is not in sterling. With Easyjet you can get round this as has been mentioned several times on this board. You make a booking starting from Britain first and any subsequent flight will also be priced in sterling. You then cancel the first flight in your booking basket before paying for the in bound flight.0
