Problem with Avira - scan keeps sticking

Hi Ive got Avira installed, but when I try to do a full system scan it keeps sticking and doesnt go past a file called c:system volume info 07c3dceb_0b80 etc etc Ive looked in explorer but cant find a folder or file called system volume info. Can anyone suggest what I can do about this? Do I need to find the file and…

my info well been in these boards actually been couple of posts in last couple of days same problem diff peeps have a look and you will see not really hard to see. only thing maybe they not updated enough then but does seem very unsual 2 posts within 24hrs or so if you see what i'm saying.
