Spotted this on Tesco Direct, Also has a message saying "£120 worth of ink vouchers included". Looks like a bargain for anyone needing a new printer.

  • Thanks ordered one as needed a new printer. The vouchers are £5 off a clour and black / white printer every month for a year. Tesco probably sell the cartridge for a fiver more then anyone else!
  • I really wanted to get a new printer as my other one is faulty. Read the reviews of this and some are good and some are bad. Has anyone got this yet?

Remember Lexmark printers are EXTORTIONATE for ink cartridges. Even the fiver off isn't going to make it anywhere near as eonomical as an Epson or a Canon. The cheapest I can get a black ink cartridge for my Lexmark is about £18 or £19 :( Really regret getting a Lexmark now, even though the printer was a bargain at the time. It's always worth checking ink prices before you buy. (I didn't :()

  • Eklynne, thanks for that. Not going to buy it. Don't need the high ink costs right now!

That's still expensive when you consider some ink cartridges for other brands of printer can be bought for 99p on ebay.
I used to have a Canon Pixma and if I bought 10 black cartridges in bulk it cost less than a tenner. I use loads of ink as I'm a student.

  • I have a canon pixma, it's gone a bit faulty. Must admit when it was working the cartridges I bought for it were from eBay and it was around £8. Bargain. Might get another canon actually..

Didnt realise they were so cheap on ebay the others, i have aplace near me where you can take the empties and they fill them up for about £5 i think but even that is quite expensive compared!
