Hi
I don't currently have a mobile (had a 12 month contract with 3/dialaphone which was effectively free with cashback but didn't use all 500mins/100texts)
am looking for a similar deal (ie free! or very little cost over year) as don't really use much.
Anyway as don't have a camera or radio either, wondered if this would be a good deal for me?
Are carphone warehouse cashbacks hassle free & straight forward?
Had no probs with dialaphone or 3 (only my confusion but they paid fine every time) so was hoping for good deal with them but nothing has caught my eye.
Found this deal today:
http://www.carphonewarehouse.com/commerce/servlet/gben-pd-ProductDisplay?PN=NETWORKS.2006.JULY.PAYMONTHLY.ORANGE.SEW810I&origin=SPECIALOFFER&tabname=
This phone seems to tick all my boxes but just thought I'd ask in case there was a better deal.
I have no experience of orange or cpw so any advice/warnings welcomed.
Thanks a bunch

oops forgot to put in link for deal!
done now!
sorry0 -
Nothing to say about the deal as I haven't used these type of things,
But what i can say about the phone it's Fantastic,
SE have excelled themselves, no other phone apart from SE has the Trademark walkman, the 2Mb camera with movie mode is also good,
The phone supports a 4Gb memory card,
Have had mine since May and its the bet phone i have had,
Have just debranded it to remove the network firmware and its so much better than before, well worth the £7 to do this
good support forum for answers to all about the phone at http://www.expansys.com/forum.asp?man=SERIC&code=1293360 -

In simple terms remove the networks branding of the phone
By debranding you remove the operator firmware and it goes back to its original state, how you really SHOULD have had it in the first place
Take a look here for the advantages http://www.expansys.com/forumthread.asp?code=129336&thread=139&man=SERIC0 -
should be able to get £30 thru quidco too!0

:T thanks - quidco makes it cheaper again!
Have been reading about the phone on the linked site and it seems to be the bees knees according to them!:D
Is sounding better and better -:grinheart
I am very tempted to go for it but will give it a day or two as I will be gutted if someone came up with an even cheaper deal just after I placed an order!0 -

not just the logo,
have a look at the expansys thread above
it also speeds the phone up,
and will allow you to update the firmware over the air, a facility which is locked while its branded0 -
well that offer was so good it has now been removed0
