Advice on Cheapest Home Internet/Phone Provider

Hi - I am no good with tech things but we are moving and are looking at getting internet in our new house. I am currently with tiscali (or talk talk as it is now) and thats who my email address is with as well - if I change provider I guess that means I have to change my email address too?! We use the internet a fair amount - my son likes to download music and my daughter watches some episodes of soaps etc on streams(?). We dont use the phone much so what are your thoughts on providers?

I have just left Tiscali because of the talktalk takeover. (You can read some other posts on here about it). Remember the usage has gone from un-limited to 40gb/mth.

I would recommend O2 homebroadband and sticking with BT for telephone line!

02 are bringing out unlimited landline calls for £12.50 ,suppose to start in March .

How much is 40gb? Im currently with tiscali/talk talk and the only reason Im considering staying with them for a while longer is due to not having enough time to change everything over to a new email address (I have started tho lol). Thankyou for the replies :~)
