Dear Member
I just want to enquire whether anyone of you have heard that there is a way to receive all the sky channels by purchasing a box through a one off payment around £500-£600. A friend of mine has this facility where he receive every channels there is on Sky but do not have a contract. He mentioned he purchased the box for around £550 but would not give me any more info. I suspect it is a bit dodgy but he won't give away much info.
Anybody who knows whether there is such a way as described above?
Kind Regards

No, not with Sky, unless its some form of card sharing, not something I would like to get into.
Maybe they mean VM? that's rampant.0 -

People dont realise that doing this can cost people their jobs as the companies affected have to recover lost profits from the theft of service in other ways.0 -

Interesting, I did know about card sharing but a set up with monthly subs is asking for trouble but even so 4 months for this low level guy?? moral is don't mess with Murdoch.
Agreed Spike, when its the odd "techy" managing to hack its not an issue but the VM thing is massive, the amount of customers I see with dubious looking boxes....0 -

I've been threatened tons of times when working at a street cabinet be people who think that I'm cutting off their illigal box, ironically, all the time's in the republican housing estates (Twinbrook/Falls Rd ect)
I even had a bband fault once which was cured every time I went to it because the prat removed the chipped box which was causing it before I arrived.
After several visit's & a testicling off my manager over my repeat fault rate,a network tech who was 'noisebusting' the cab the prat was off told me the prat had a chipped box!
Cue one very pished off service tech going to the prats door & reading him the riot act!!! W****r!!0
