Which upgrade shall I get
Hi guys. My question is about the actual phone rather than the deal I am getting since I have a fairly decent deal as it is.
I am debating whether to get the new Nokia X6 when it comes out in a week or 2 or the Samsung Tocco Ultra.
I've read reviews for both and struggling to make my mind up!!

or shall i wait a little longer and see if anything better still comes out?0

The tocco ultra is meant to be really bad, loads of reviews state problems with it.
The x6 is meant to be good spec wise but the operating system is a let down as i have read that the S60 is not suitable for the capacitive screen.
Wait a little longer, new phones getting announced on sunday... they may not be released any time soon but atleast you will know what is on the market for the rest of the year.0 -
cheers 4 that advice potato - i had heard some mixed reviews re the tocco and wasn't sure about the x6 since it isn't out just yet.0

Check out https://www.gsmarena.com for an impartial review. Having had a Tocco Ultra though i will tell you now, its pants.....'Just because its on the internet don't believe it 100%'. Abraham Lincoln.

The Nokia X6 is a 5800 with a capacitive touchscreen (it responds to contact with human skin) in place of the resistive touchscreen (responds to veri light pressure) and 16GB internal storage in place of the memory card slot.
The 5800 may be a bit old in terms of hardware but the latest firmware version is very good and will give you the same interface as the X6. It is also £100 cheaper when you compare the SIM free prices (£200 versus £300 for an X6 16GB).
There is some bias on my part, as I have owned and used a 5800 for a year now (bought it soon after launch). I have experienced all the bugs in the early software, which with each successive update became fewer and fewer, and enjoyed the new features added over the year to this handset. I am very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone seeking an affordable smartphone.
If you really like the X6, though, as far as the software is concerned I think you would not be too disappointed
If you're expecting iPhone like slickness however..... ;-) 0
