Can't access SOME threads on here

Could someone please help to solve this small mystery......... There are 2 threads on the MSE forums that I just cannot access this past week. The only thing that perhaps might throw some light on things is that both threads are very very long, over 2.500 posts. One of them, the E7even thread in Internet Acces forum, and the holiday forum, thread by Travel man.
Hope someone can help.

Have you got them saved in your favourites because sometimes the links will change.

Do you have your settings as show all posts? Maybe thats why and you should change it back to 50 posts per page.

Hi Katgoddess, Yopu are a star:j I went into my settings and altered a few things as you suggested and hey presto it worked! That doesn't explain WHY all of a sudden this happened and with just those 2 threads? I certainly hadn't changed any setting. The main thing is all is okay now.
