I'm looking for a reliable free online sms service to mobiles.
Anyone use any? Are they reliable?
I use O2 and ROK, but the texts sometimes take a while, and sometimes dont get there at all!

I used to use these a long time ago http://www.cbfsms.com/ but my free text package is adequate enough now
they used to be quite good, they have a delivery confirmation system and a replies system now0 -

I use O2, register ANY phone from any network on thier website and you get 10 free per month, i have registered 3 phones so 30 a month for me there,If you have an orange phone register online with Orange for 30 free texts per month, this service also can send a text to a landline (BT).
You must be unlucky with O2 as they seem reliable to me.
Hope this helps

ah yes just had a look, you do have to allow pop ups to send the message!! thats a new thing!!
you should be able to allow pop ups by clicking tools, then pop up blocker manager on the IE page, but don't quote me on that

No Mum as far as i know you need a working Orange phone as they send a code via text to your mobile and the 30 free texts a month are from PC to Mobile or PC to Landline from the orange website.

thanks cs, I've used that once before on my orange mobile.
I'll have a look at the site and se if I can find the number again to send a text to, which gets you the freebie texts.*** Friends are angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly ***
