PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING: Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Doozergirl and her husband are developers: my understanding is it was agreed the property would be cleared, but that they knew it would need gutting.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -

I'm also wondering how OP is getting on. Hope you've got it all sorted, although might not have been possible at the weekend.0

I tend to assume they are all real until I get the feeling they are not.
Its not really suprising really, OP has an issue is desperate for help, posts a question on various forums, may get responses, some will be more helpful than others and the OP's issue will either be resolved because of the forum or despite it.
In this instance I would imagine that the vendor moved out on the Saturday an our OP has moved in. In the scheme of things its not really a big issue as the OP was an FTB and hasn't really suffered any loss. Plus the OP has a great house moving anecdote to embelish and tell at parties / work etc.0 -
I just can't believe the cheek of someone selling their house and just not moving out! Quite funny to think how someone could have the cheek to try that, or to think that the buyer won't notice!0
