Vodafone discount!
Hi there,
I'm very happy as I blagged a discount with vodafone yesterday. :j
I have spoken to vodafone before but was a bit irate and hadn't done any research so didn't get anywhere at all! I am currently on their 1000 minute plan for £75 per month - high I know but I use my mobile for my business. I had been told about flext from t mobile which gives you 900 minutes for £35 per month (if you use just minutes, if you text as well the amount of minutes goes down) and as vodafone wouldn't let me out of my contract due to finish in January (from the first call I'd made to them) I thought if I reduced vodafone to their lowest tarrif and took out a t-mobile contract it would still work out cheaper. £55 per month.
Phoned vodafone last night to ask them to pop me onto their lowest tariff, when they asked me why I told them I could have the same service elsewhere cheaper by taking out a new contract with t-mobile, the chap put me on hold for a while and came back offering me the same amount of minutes for £37.50 per month - half price!
I'm so pleased and wouldn't have been aware that I had been paying too much if I hadn't found this website, so thank you everyone for your encouraging advice.
If you are going to blag a discount, have to hand the carphone wearhouse brochure, I sounded a real expert with it in front of me being able to quote the different tariffs on offer from other suppliers.
Good luck, Lorna
