Flowery undies maybe (for her), or Flowers beer.
Or even a plant (preferably a useful one), but flowers flowers, nope, I'd just look at them and wonder why.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -
I might consider buying my OH some flowers, just to see his face!! Flowers really arent his thing!
Totally agree with Jo_R, if I bought him Guiness I'd be the best GF in the world!0 -
My OH would always appreciate a little potted plant, but not cut flowers. I feel the same way though. A plant is a bit of green growing and living and making the room feel nice, flowers just die which I find a bit depressing!0

I like to get flowers and my GF has done it for me a couple of times.
The strangest time ever though was when I worked as a bouncer in my student days, some trouble kicked off at a young woman's 21st Birthday party. I stopped the fight, got it calmed down talked the two groups of troublemakers out of the hotel and got them taxis (at different exits to the hotel, one at the front door and one at the car park exit), Got my team to clear up and the party went on almost seamlesly.
Next week I got a massive bouquet from the girl whose party it was. Which I proudly displayed in the Foyer where I stood vetting the customers to our dance night. She later told me she did not know what to get me as I did not drink alchohol at that time but thought everyone likes flowers so she got me the bouquet. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. My DH would not appreciate flowers. An undertray for his Kawasaki maybe :rotfl:
But I've got him a watch instead!

My bf hates flowers with a passion. Even when he buys them for me he asks me to keep them out of the kitchen so he doesn't have to look at them - goodness knows why!:happylove DD July 2011:happyloveAug 13 [STRIKE]£4235.19[/STRIKE] £2550.00 :cool:0

I gave an old boyfriend a single rose along with some other small gifts for valentines day a couple of years ago.He said that it was lovely nobody had ever done it for him before. So he seamed to like it,well at least he said he did.lol0

When my husband was working away from home one year on Valentine's day, I arranged for the waiter to deliver one red rose to his breakfast table in the hotel It was delivered, with due pomp and ceremony by the Head Waiter on a silver salver in front of all the other people breakfasting there, (mainly solitary businessmen) and my husband was ABSOLUTELY MORTIFIED. He confessed afterwards he wanted to crawl under the table and die with embarrassment, especially with all the sniggers he got from the other breakfast tables. I'd never do that one again ! Despite this, he loves flowers and buys them for me most weeks.0
