bu99er. Here, said it for you0

Apparently if it hasnt turned up tomorrow they will refund me what I paid, however they said I will no longer be covered for any manufacturer repairs by there own repair service so I should only purchase products from them where the manufacturer provides the guarantee service???0
-
Why would you consider buying anything from them ever again?0

Have you still got your warranty documentation?
If so, check it carefully. Most such products are, legally, contracts of insurance. That gives you the right to make a complaint under the FSA rules. They then have 8 weeks to respond to it and must then give you the right to take it to the Financial Ombudsman Service - free!0 -
Another update, I am getting a refund tomorrow, they offered £450 but I said there is no way I can get the same spec laptop for that so have pushed for £500.
I have had enough now so will settle at this, anyone know any good Ultra Mobile laptops around the £400 mark?0 -

So let me get this right, £450 isnt enough so you are getting £500, but in the same post you state you are only willing to pay £400 for your next purchase?
So you are trying to make £100 profit out of this ?
And I'm also going to guess that this was a store part of the Dixons group? Like Comet or PC World or similar?0 -

No I am setting aside the fact I will need to re-buy Norton Internet Security which will have now expired.0 -
For goodness sake why would you wan't Norton when you can get miles better anti viruses and anti malware for free?
Avast, Avira and Malwarbytes spring to mind as well as well as Microsoft Security Essentials.
Finally, after whinging for months, you've got a resolution to your problems.
So why make a mountain out of a molehill?0 -
