Blackberry????

Trying to find a good deal on a Blackberry but it seems swings and roundabouts.
Pay more for the device then less on the monthly rental or the other way round.
Please can I have suggestions of companies to approach to get a quote (O2 is not cheap) and which of the Blackberry handsets have you found to be the best to use. In addition are there any plans/rental terms you have found to be good value.
If anyone knows, MSE's know.

I read an article in the computer press last week that said that T-Mobile was the only serious choice for mobile email. They (apparently) have rude-not-to data plans available as bolt-ons to a voice tariff, and the Flext plans are widely spoken of as being excellent value.

I found the article interesting as it implied that the T-Mobile network really was good enough; I'd previously harboured the misconception that the reception was the worst of the UK 2G networks. (My current experiment with Virgin mobile also suggests that I was wrong, and that the network is fine.)

Whilst I don't have the article to hand, I remembered that it spoke of the pence-per-kilobyte of data rates being quite steep for the other operators, something to check as you compare your options.

    Hope that helps
