we are doing something similar, but all we did was purchase empty bottles online(we ordered 250ml clear bottles) and bought larger bottles of soap/bubble bath from tesco on offer and filled the smaller bottles with that, if that makes sense!
Means we can also make our own labels etc

My favours are a little candle in an organza bag, which I sourced from confetti in the sale, so work out to a budget busting 69p each!!!

me and the OH have debated over this. we've both seen wedding favours go to waste at so many weddings that we're contemplating just giving a donation to a charity of our choice (leaning towards an autism charity as my nephew is autistic) and then just putting out cards on the table saying something like

in lieu of favours we have donated money to "charity"

we're still not 100% on this but personally i think it's a nice thing to do :T

Ours add up to a total of £18.57 for 40, so we've beat you - 46p each! Bog standard 5 sugared almonds in organza, we're not really "fussy" people.

We are also giving a donation to Macmillan Cancer Relief and to the hospice local to my old home, in memory of the support both organisations gave to my parents before their deaths.
  • I got 50 organza bags for £1 something, and 50 gold candles for £2.50. I then bought fortune cookies fo rthe men from a local chinese supermarket. 100 favours for less than a tenner!
